THOSE WHO SUPPORT US
Creating safe, inclusive, and supportive communities is not something we can do alone. We are incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by a passionate and dedicated network of volunteers, ambassadors, partners, and fundraisers who stand beside us in our mission. Their commitment, energy, and generosity amplify our impact and remind us of the strength that comes from working together.
Our ambassadors continue to be powerful advocates for youth mental health and wellbeing, using their voices to raise awareness and inspire action. Equally inspiring is the ongoing growth of our volunteer community, known as YouCrew. From lending a hand at the Big Pineapple Festival to bringing joy through our Christmas Giving initiative, YouCrew members contribute time and energy that bring our work to life.
This year, our YouCrew School Ambassador Leadership Program continued to expand, partnering with six schools across the Sunshine Coast, including Sunshine Coast Grammar, Pacific Lutheran College (PLC), and Kawana State School. These young leaders have stepped up in meaningful ways, from fundraising at the Sunshine Coast Marathon and the PLC Homelessness Sleepout, to running awareness campaigns and volunteering with Good Shepherd Lutheran, where they rolled up their sleeves to cook meals for those in need. Their energy, compassion, and commitment highlight the power of youth-led change and the vital role young people play in building more connected, resilient communities.

Supporting Youturn provides our team with an opportunity to make a tangible and meaningful difference in the lives of others.

AECOM (Sunshine Coast)

Youturn’s corporate partnerships remain essential to our impact, with several local and national businesses contributing to our success. White’s IGA has been a steadfast supporter, raising funds for our mental health projects. Nutworks continues to champion our cause through the sale of limited-edition confectionery, sparking important conversations about mental health while generating funds for our programs. Meanwhile, international infrastructure consulting firm AECOM invited Youturn to present at a virtual town hall for more than 700 staff, which led to strong engagement and generous contributions through their employee giveback program as well as committing ongoing support for our Emergency Relief efforts at Tewantin.
Cricks Nambour has also been a great supporter, sponsoring our Youturn-branded Outlander, affectionately nicknamed the “YOUlander”, which allows us to connect with communities, attend events, and travel between our sites across Southeast Queensland, while proudly promoting the Youturn brand. And when we sought to upgrade our emergency accommodation, Manawee Gardens stepped in, with Marjorie and her team donating plants and items to help us create a welcoming outdoor oasis for tenants.
We are also deeply grateful to the many community organisations who stand alongside us. Grants from groups such as Maroochy RSL and the Buderim Foundation have enabled us to deliver projects and programs beyond our government-funded services, allowing us to be innovative and proactive in responding to community needs. Local service clubs, including Rotary and Lions, continue to show unwavering support, whether through hosting fundraising BBQs or inviting us to share our work at their meetings.
Together with our partners and supporters, we are reminded that when communities unite, our collective impact multiplies. Every hour volunteered, every dollar raised, and every voice lifted in advocacy strengthens Youturn’s ability to support those who need it most. We are deeply grateful to all who stand with us on this journey, because together, we achieve so much more.
Sunshine Coast Grammar School is proud of their continued partnership with Youturn. Our partnership is a relationship built on a strong sense of community, shared values and an unwavering commitment to supporting young people. We are proud to have been able to raise funds and awareness for Youturn and look forward to strengthening our connection moving forward. Youturn are a shining light in the Sunshine Coast community, offering support to many and opportunity to all. Sunshine Coast Grammar continue to be grateful for the friendship, support, advocacy and dedication that they Youturn offer.
